Check the airport and port combination
Read the airport code on your flight booking and the port name on your cruise reservation. FLL to PortMiami is different from MIA to PortMiami and from FLL to Port Everglades; those differences affect the itinerary. Follow the scheduled embarkation time assigned by your cruise line; the terminal also determines the appropriate port entrance.
Include the ship name and sailing date even when you know the terminal. Cruise documents and the cruise line's current instructions should guide the final drop-off details.
Leave room between landing and the ship
Use the time you must report for the cruise, rather than the ship's departure time. Airport formalities and baggage collection happen before you reach the vehicle, while the road journey is another part of the schedule.
If your flight arrives on sailing day, send the full timing at the outset. For a hotel stay before the cruise, request airport-to-hotel and hotel-to-port journeys separately so each has its own pickup and luggage plan.
Choose the vehicle around the whole party
A family with cruise suitcases may need a different configuration from two business travellers with carry-ons. Tell us the number and approximate size of bags, not just the passenger count.
For passengers arriving on different flights, nominate a reachable lead contact and explain whether everyone plans to meet before leaving. The quote can then address the intended collection rather than assuming one shared arrival.
