The useful comparison is the load travelling with you after the cruise. A CR-V, Pilot and Carnival Hybrid offer different passenger layouts; inspect cargo space with the required seats occupied.
Explain whether the car connects the port to a longer hotel stay or to other planned journeys. Include the final return address early so the rental period has a clear beginning and end.
Treat the port and FLL as different places
A flight into FLL does not make the airport and cruise terminal one rental location. Send your full sequence: flight, hotel, cruise and onward travel. The team confirms where a handover is possible and any delivery cost. A port shuttle, terminal access and one-way return are not assumed.
Compare family space with luggage aboard
Start with the Carnival Hybrid or Pilot when the group needs more than five seats; compare the CR-V for a smaller party. Inspect the cargo area behind the last occupied row and describe larger cases or a stroller in the request. No fixed suitcase count is guaranteed from seat count alone.
Avoid a last-minute return agreement
If you have only part of a day after the cruise, specify the exact window and departure deadline. A rental may not suit a very short connection. Confirm the vehicle, return inspection, fuel requirement and separate onward transport before committing to other timing.

Is this a transfer from the port to FLL?
No. This is a self-drive rental enquiry. A chauffeur transfer is a different service; do not book a rental expecting a driver or shuttle.
Can I pick up immediately when the ship docks?
Docking time does not establish when you will be ready. Send the expected disembarkation window and wait for a confirmed meeting plan.
Is delivery inside the port guaranteed?
No. The exact permitted handover location and access arrangements must be confirmed. This page does not claim a port office or terminal-delivery authorization.
You do not need to send payment-card details, passport copies or driving documents with the initial enquiry.
