A marina name is the start, not the meeting point
If the visit involves a boat, ask your host for the road-accessible meeting place and boarding time. Include the marina name, boat contact and any entrance instructions relevant to passengers. A berth number helps the host but does not necessarily identify somewhere a car can reach.
Build in time between leaving the car and meeting the boat party. The transport request is for the road journey; it should not depend on a vehicle reaching the dock or on access that the marina has not arranged.
Account for the change from water to land
Tell us what passengers will carry: overnight bags, day bags or larger equipment. If clothing or bags may be wet after the outing, plan how those items will be packed before boarding the vehicle.
If the group changes after the marina visit, give the revised passenger count. A dinner plan with additional friends is a different transport request from the original hotel departure.
Keep the return tied to a real update
A boat's planned return and the moment passengers reach the road can differ. Choose one person to communicate the party's readiness and provide a proposed collection window rather than only the expected docking time.
For a longer day, list each road leg and whether the vehicle is needed between stops. The quote can address the requested itinerary and available service, without treating the road transfer as a yacht booking or marina partnership.
