For a day of meetings, shopping or several visits, give the chauffeur team a route with priorities rather than a list of addresses alone. Identify the fixed appointments, approximate time at each stop and the final destination. That lets the team assess the service period and explain waiting and change terms.

An hourly chauffeur enquiry is the appropriate starting point when you need a driver across several stops. Confirm the actual arrangement; an hourly booking should not be assumed to mean unlimited time, distance or changes.

Separate fixed and flexible stops

Mark appointments that cannot move and activities that can be shortened or dropped. Keep the route geographically sensible where possible, but do not sacrifice a confirmed meeting time simply to produce a neat loop on a map.

Give the driver a practical entrance or pickup point for each stop. A building may have several doors, a loading restriction or a separate vehicle entrance that is not obvious from its main postal address.

Understand waiting and parking

Ask whether the vehicle remains nearby, how you request pickup and what parking or waiting charges may apply. Do not assume a driver can stay at a restricted kerb while you attend an appointment.

If you expect to leave belongings in the vehicle, discuss that explicitly. An hourly service is not automatically a promise of storage for every item or continuous access to the same parking location.

Build time for transitions

Allow for leaving a building, reaching the pickup point, boarding and any traffic between stops. A meeting that finishes at 2 p.m. does not mean the car can depart at precisely 2 p.m. with everyone seated.

Tell the team when the final stop is an airport, event or other hard deadline. Agree in advance which optional stop will be removed if the day runs late.

Confirm the commercial terms

Ask for the booked hours, minimum period if any, included travel area, overtime calculation, parking or toll treatment and the process for approving extensions. Compare proposals using the same itinerary.

The transfer-versus-hourly guide explains the broader service choice. This run-sheet approach is the next step once you know you need several stops.

Send one final version to the organiser and transport team. Keep changes concise and explicit: which stop changed, the new time and who approved it. A coherent route gives the driver useful information while leaving you free to focus on the reason for the trip.
